A craft technique passed down through centuries, the ancient craft of Ajrakh block-printing has been found at archaeological remains as far as Fustat, Egypt. Crafted in combinations of traditional indigo, madder and yellow colors rendered in feather light fabric, these block-prints bear the stamp of one of the most skilled Ajrakh artisans, Sufiyan Ismail Khatri who hails from a family of award-winning block-printers.
